The eight baseball players included "Shoeless" Joe Jackson, Eddie Cicotte, "Lefty" Claude Williams, "Chick" Arnold Gandil, Fred McMullin, and "Swede" Charles Risberg, Buck Weaver and "Happy" Oscar Felsch.
